Leigh's Reproduction Dolls.

When I retired, after 32 years working in hospitals as a state registered nurse I needed something to occupy my time.

After trying several hobbies, painting, toy making, etc, I started to make clothes for my granddaughters dolls this led to my interest in making clothes for reproduction porcelain dolls. To start with, I purchased the parts from a well known firm and started to put together and make my own dolls from these.

My interest grew and before long I took lessons in the art of producing the porcelain, I bought moulds and a kiln and started to produce and hand paint the body parts my-self. This made each doll an individual. Each doll has detailed clothing, even down to the under garments.

I get a lot of satisfaction from my hobby and hope that all who obtain one of my dolls will be able to enjoy them as much as I do.
